Step 1.
Heat the oven to 200°C. Lay the broccoli onto a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and slide into the oven for 10-15 mins, until charred.
Step 2.
Tip the butter beans into a saucepan along with the water from their cans, bring to the boil. Add the pesto, taste and season, adding a splash of white wine vinegar if it needs it.
Step 3.
Spoon the beans into bowls, top with the charred broccoli and finish with a pinch of chilli flakes and a grating of Parmesan.
